On the beach

Tel Aviv, like Rio de Janeiro, is fortunate to have miles of wonderful beaches. I found one called Bugrashov, which unlike the beaches to the south had life guards on duty and was open for swimming. Bugrashov Beach was not on the map, but that's what the lifeguards and local residents called it.

Charles Clore Park, located at the south end of Tel Aviv's beaches, is also a magnet for families.

Great form!
Before heading back to Jerusalem, I happened to see a group of Eritrean Christians dressed in suits and traditional dresses. We communicated with difficulty, but I think they were telling me that they had just had a Christian baptism in the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Peter and St. Tabitha.

The regular buses don't run between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on the Jewish Sabbath, but fortunately there are shared taxis available.
